The TAG Heuer History

Tag Heuer was begun by Edouard Heuer in 1860, when he set up his first workshop in St. Imier, Switzerland. 

The design of the watch has been since its beginning a constant striving to keep up with the most infinitesimal of time.

in 1869 Edouard Heuer patented one of the first crown winding mechanisms.

Throughout the years, TAG Heuer has maintained the highest standards of watchmaking and has led the way with professional sports partnerships that have pushed the innovation ever forward.
